I am a Cantorial Soloist and Jewish educator living in Vero Beach, Florida where I currently teach Hebrew and Jewish studies at Temple Beth Shalom. I have been studying Cantorial music and arts for three years, and I sing twice a month as the Cantorial Soloist at Temple Beth El Israel in Port St. Lucie, Florida. My strong Jewish identity and sense of spirituality are a result of being raised in a strong Jewish home where Judaism was a joy and celebration. I work to create a positive Jewish experience for my students and their families as they navigate their way toward Judaism and learn the "how" and "why" we do what we do.
I work with each student based on their background, experience, prior knowledge and individual level of observance. Every student is unique and I tailor a curriculum to meet each student's individual needs. I am also the parent of a child with High Functioning Autism, so I have years of experience working with students who learn differently. Lessons are customized from a basic curriculum and adjusted as necessary to ensure a positive learning experience for the student. My main objective is to help students reach their goals and learn what it means to live a meaningful Jewish life.
